Radian 2 Cable Checker

  • Radian 2 works with all cameras listed below. You just need the right USB cable!
  • Radian 2 can still control the cameras listed here for motion time lapse by triggering them with a shutter cable using move-shoot-move coordinated movement (USB features do not work).
  • Example: You have a Canon 5D Mark III and a Nikon D7200. You can order 1 Radian 2 and be able to use it with either camera with the correct USB cables. Or you can order 2 Radian 2's and sync/control them at the same time from the Radian 2 App. Radian 2 will recognize the connected camera and the App will recognize 1-3 separate Radians at once.

Not Compatible

  • Cameras with a USB 3.0 Port use a USB Micro cable that fills half of the 3.0 port but accesses all settings.
  • Sony cameras do not currently support USB control because Sony cameras do not save images to the SD card when connected to USB.
  • We do not currently have plans to expand USB camera compatibility past the models with software development kits offered by Canon and Nikon. Sign up to our email list and you'll be the first to know if this changes!
